In many industries such as retail, advertising and exhibitions, cardboard floor display stands have become an important tool for product display due to their low cost, light weight, environmentally friendly recyclability and high customizability. However, in order to ensure that these display stands can still maintain good display effects and service life after long-term storage, a series of matters need to be paid attention to during storage.
Cardboard material characteristics and storage requirements
Cardboard floor display stands are mainly made of cardboard materials. Their physical and chemical properties determine that special attention should be paid to the following key aspects during storage:
Moisture and moisture resistance: Cardboard has strong hygroscopicity. Long-term exposure to a humid environment will cause it to deform, mold or even break. Therefore, the storage environment should be kept dry, and the ideal relative humidity should be controlled between 40%-60%, avoiding direct exposure to a humid environment.
Avoid light and sun protection: Direct sunlight will accelerate the aging process of cardboard, causing color fading and strength loss. When storing, a cool and well-ventilated warehouse should be selected to ensure that direct sunlight is avoided.
Pest and rodent prevention: Common pests and rodents in the storage environment may cause serious damage to cardboard. It is essential to regularly inspect the warehouse and take necessary measures to prevent insects and rodents.
Storage environment control
Temperature management: The ideal storage temperature should be maintained between 15℃ and 25℃. Too high a temperature will cause the cardboard to soften and deform, while too low a temperature may cause the cardboard to become brittle.
Ventilation: Good ventilation helps reduce moisture and odor, while reducing the risk of pest and mold growth. It is essential to ensure good air circulation in the warehouse.
Cleaning and maintenance: Clean the warehouse regularly to keep the floor, walls and shelves clean, reduce the impact of dust and dirt on the cardboard, and ensure that it is not damaged during storage.
Stacking and handling skills
Reasonable stacking: When stacking cardboard display racks, the principle of "heavy bottom and light top, appropriate size" should be followed to avoid compression and deformation of the lower cardboard due to stacking too high or too heavy. At the same time, a certain distance should be maintained between each layer of cardboard to promote air circulation.
Smooth handling: When transporting cardboard display racks, it is recommended to use professional tools such as forklifts or trolleys to avoid direct dragging or throwing to prevent damage to the structure of the cardboard.
Regular inspection and maintenance
Appearance inspection: The appearance of the cardboard display rack should be inspected regularly to promptly detect and deal with problems such as damage, deformation or stains to ensure its integrity during use.
Strength test: For cardboard display racks that are stored for a long time, regular strength tests are necessary to ensure that they can withstand the expected load during use and avoid display failures due to insufficient strength.
Dust removal and maintenance: Use a soft dry cloth or vacuum cleaner to regularly remove dust from the surface of the cardboard to keep it clean and beautiful and ensure the best display effect.
